Brittany Mahomes Reveals Where She’s ‘the Happiest’ After Super Bowl

Brittany Mahomes has found her happy place. 

The 29-year-old mother of three is enjoying some rest and relaxation now that the 2024-2025 NFL season has ended. 

“The happiest in the Sun,” she wrote over a Boomerang video of herself lounging outdoors, adding an emoji wearing a pair of sunglasses.

In the post just before that one, Mahomes showed off clear and sunny skies. 

For her outdoor time, she wore a pink tank top with light pink, translucent shades. The Kansas City Current co-owner kept the pink theme going with freshly manicured pale pink nails and a matte pink lip. 

Her happy post comes less than two weeks after her husband Patrick Mahomes failed to take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy during the Feb. 9 game. The Kansas City Chiefs lost 22-40 to the Philadelphia Eagles. 

Brittany later shared an emotional post to her Instagram Stories as she reflected on the big game loss.

On Feb. 11, she reposted a message from her friend, pediatric sleep consultant Jenna Artis, who referred to Patrick, also 29, as “a standout football player” who is “redefining what fatherhood looks like — even with a full plate.”

The Chiefs quarterback and Brittany are mom and dad to three young children: daughter Sterling Skye, 3 ½ , son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2, and daughter Golden Raye Mahomes, who was born on Jan. 12.

As the lengthy tribute went on, Artis said Brittany was “the glue” that held their family together.

“The way you juggle it all with grace, little sleep, selflessness, and love is truly inspiring,” Artis said of her friend. “You’re an amazing mom (like truly Inspired how you do it all), a wonderful human and a friend anyone would be lucky to have.” 

Patrick previously expressed his disappointment in the Super Bowl game, writing in his own social media post that he let his fans down. 

“Appreciate all the love and support from #ChiefsKingdom,” he wrote on X after the game ended. “I let y’all down today. I’ll always continue to work and try and learn and be better for it. Want to give thanks to God for every opportunity he has given me.”

“We will be back,” the football star concluded. 

Now that the family of five has a bit of time off, they can refocus on one another.

“Our life can be hectic, especially with two little ones running around, so our goal was to make this space serene and calming,” Brittany told PEOPLE about Golden’s custom nursery ahead of her arrival. 

“We both spend a lot of time in the nursery, so we wanted to make sure it was a space we were both comfortable in,” she added of the proud parents.
