Mackie is joined by a star-studded cast, including Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross (aka the Red Hulk), Danny Ramirez as the new Falcon, Shira Haas as Sabra, Xosha Roquemore as Leila Taylor, and Giancarlo Esposito as Sidewinder. Reprising their roles in the film are Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, and Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns.

Captain America: Brave New World is aiming to make $80 million to $85 million at the box office this weekend and $90 million to $95 million through the President’s Day holiday. The MCU sequel is also projected to be the largest domestic debut of 2025 so far, according to Variety.

When Will Captain America: Brave New World Be Streaming On Disney+?

Disney+ has not yet announced when Captain America: Brave New World will be streaming. Fans can expect the superhero film to arrive on Disney’s streaming service about three months after its theatrical debut — likely sometime in May 2025.

For example, last year’s box office hit Deadpool & Wolverine was released on Disney+ on November 12, 2024, about three months and 17 days after its theatrical premiere. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 both had 60-day exclusive theatrical release windows, and each movie arrived on Disney+ precisely three months after their theatrical debuts.

To watch Captain America: Brave New World when it eventually arrives on Disney+, viewers must sign up for a subscription to the streaming platform. Plans start at $9.99 per month for the basic option (with ads). Currently, Disney+ does not provide a free trial. However, the service offers a bundle option with ESPN+ and/or Hulu, starting at $10.99 monthly.

When Will Captain America: Brave New World Be Streaming On Digital?

Before Captain America: Brave New World arrives on Disney+, the movie will be available to purchase and rent on digital video-on-demand platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, and YouTube TV.

Studios typically release a movie digitally about 45 to 65 days after its theatrical premiere, though the timing can vary based on its box office performance too.
